Several Kinds of Crushers Can Be Used in Cement Production

In cement production, limestone as the main raw material must be crushed. There are many kinds of types and specifications of crushing machines. Each of them has a range of application. Here, we will introduce several kinds of crushers that can be used in the cement production.

1.Jaw crusher

There are many types of jaw crushers; the most commonly used crushers in the market include single pendulum jaw crusher, compound pendulum jaw crusher and hydraulic jaw crusher. The advantages of jaw crusher are single structure, easy to maintain, safe and reliable operation and wide application. The disadvantages are intermittent working, free rotation stroke, increased unproductive power consumption and large parts load caused by big working inertia. Thus, there is a higher quality requirement on the jaw crusher.

2.Hammer Crusher

The main part of the hammer crusher is hammer. The quality, shape and material have a great influence on the production capacity of crusher. In order to ensure the high working efficiency of crushers, the quality of hammer must be guaranteed. The advantage s of hammer crusher are high production capacity, big reduction ratio, low power consumption, simple and compact structure, low investment, easy to manage, etc. the disadvantages are big wear of hammer and grate when crushing and grinding hard materials, the need of even feeding, reduction in production when crushing wet materials, outage caused by clogging, etc.

3.Impact Hammer Crusher

Impact hammer crusher combines the advantages of impact crusher and hammer crusher. Its structural feature lies in increasing an adjustable jaw plate and discharging slot in the crushing cavity so as to realize coarse and fine crushing. When there is a foreign body in the crushing cavity, the automatic device has a good protective effect.

4.Other Types of Crushers

In addition to above two common-used crushers, cone crusher, impact crusher, roller crusher and vertical shaft crusher can also be used in the cement production.

Any types of crushers have both advantages and disadvantages. When choosing, you should take each factor into consideration so as to reduce production costs.
