Application of Roll Crusher in Iron Ore Dressing
Because of the more and more decrease of the iron rock resources in our country, the exploitation and utilization of the lean iron ore resources. However, because the composition of the lean ores is very complicated and the granularity of the distribution of the material is very fine, all these factors lead to some degree of difficulty to the ore dressing process.

The breaking and working principle of this crusher is that according to the distribution condition of the iron rocks in the bed of the materials, the rocks are ground and kneaded for many times by the grinding roller rotating at a very high speed which makes the ores finally be crushed into fine or powders. During the process, the combination interface of the some mineral materials and gangues will occur fatigue fracture or slight micro crack and some combination interface will separate the material completely. Some useful ores will gain complete monomer dissociation while some others will have micro crack and internal stress. The material particles that have complete monomer dissociation or part monomer dissociation will screened into rough concentrate with high taste and tailings with low taste in the coarse grain tailing classification of the preconcentration process. The kind of rough concentrate with little gangue minerals goes into the ball mill without combination interface of the particle inside the monomer dissociation and because it has a lot of micro crack and internal stress, in the ball mill, the useful minerals and gangue of this part of particle can be easily gotten better monomer dissociation. This kind of rough concentrate will contribute to the improvement of the taste of the final concentrate in the magnetic separation process.
The flotation process of the iron rocks with low taste and fine granularity of distribution: it will go into the preconcentration stage after being crushed by the roller crusher; get rid of some tailing materials with low taste making use of the dry and light magnetic separation; and get rid of some more with wet light magnetic separation. Because the granularity of the rocks mixture materials after being crushed is very fine and the distribution scope is very wide and the super fine products are powders, in the preconcentration stage of this iron ores with this granularity classification, remarkable beneficiation effects will be gained in the rough concentration dressing process.
