The Material Crushing Should Be Carried out in Stages

In the crushing and grinding operation, the crusher should crush materials in stages. Hence, a variety of crushers that have multiple functions are comes in handy so as to truly meet the diversified needs of customers.

In that way, which kinds of stages are required in the crushing and grinding process?

1.Due to the structural reasons of currently used crushing and grinding equipment, it's impossible to achieve ultimate crushing by only using single crushing equipment. Therefore, crushing the raw material to the final granularity needs various devices, namely carrying them out in stages.

2.Because of the high energy consumption of crushing and grinding, grinding in stages can reduce the grinding burden and meet the requirements of feeding size economically.

Besides, when it comes to the mineral crushing, we should briefly introduce some related knowledge.

1.Reduction ratio. It's the specific value of the granularity of pre-crushed materials and the pulverized product particle size. It has three representations, namely the limit reduction ratio, nominal crushing ratio and true reduction ratio.

2.Selective crushing. In the fine grinding process of uneven materials, the materials that have small intensity will be fine grinded while the materials that have large intensity are left. This phenomenon is known as selective crushing.

3.Granularity and grain diameter. Grain diameter is the measure of particle size of individual material. And the granularity is used to describe the size of particle group.

4.Closed-circuit grinding system. In the production practice, the closed-circuit grinding system is used to combine crushing and grinding equipment with screening equipment and rebound unqualified materials to the crushers to be re-crushed.

5.Types of crushing forces. Extrusion, arcuation, cutting, crushing, grinding, and impact.

6.Open-circuit grinding system. The grinding system that milling products without grinding or not return to the grinding system is called open-circuit grinding system
