Some Tips When Operating Bucket Elevator

The working principle of bucket elevator: the material is scooped by the hopper from the store area, the material is lifted to the top by the conveyor belt or conveyor chain, and next it turns down around the top wheel, then the bucket elevator throws the material into the receiver. Bucket elevator is the common lifting equipment in agricultural product factory and food bureau, and it is suitable for lifting powder and small material. The design of this machine must be reasonable and maintained correctly to avoid some dangers.

1)Belt tracking. The main cause is the wrong trace or wrong installation. It's simple to fix the belt's position, and any shortcoming of one machine will lead non-stop problems before it is improved completely. If there is no measure when the belt is tracking, it will lead rub and then heat and fires.

2)Belt slipping. In the first installation, the elasticity of the belt must be appropriate, which can avoid slipping. Generally the elasticity should be readjusted; otherwise, it will lead heat and eventually fires if the belt is slipping.

3)Welding and electric spark. The welding on the feeder tub or loading or unloading all will lead fires due to the in improper electric operation.

4)Unworkable bearing. When in the bucket elevator, the bearing is running in extremely dangerous condition; when continuously running, the bearing is in the dusty condition. If the bearing is used in high temperature, the two conditions above are very harmful for the using life of the bearing. If the unworkable bearing is still running, the extreme heat will be created.
