Probes of Common Problems and Solutions for Dryers
Drying machine is widely used for ore beneficiation, building material, metallurgy, chemical industry and other material with certain humidity or particle size.
Rotary dryer can dry various materials and is used widely with easy operation. When rotary dryer is running, there are some problems occurring and next we will learn about these problems and corresponding methods.
1. The raw materials fire in the dryer machine.
The causes are:
a) Improper operation on drying machine.
b) Heat the machine forcedly because the drying equipment is too small to achieve the drying effect.
c) There are problems on design theory of drying machine.
d) Fire is caused by raw materials left.
The corresponding solutions are:
a) Asking for operation illustrations form the manufacturer.
b) Changing or transforming the drying machine.
c) Checking that if the drying machine installs correctly, leaks or increases air pressure.
2. Raw materials can't be dried in one time.
The causes are:
a) The dryer is too small.
b) There are mistakes for wind network, wind pressure and flow calculation.
c) Operation on dryer machine is improperly.
The solutions are:
a) Increasing the dryer's temperature which leads fire easily, so it's better to change or transform the drying machine.
b) Requirements on re-calculate wind pressure and flow, and then asking the manufacturer to provide the design plan according to the fact.
3. The chimney of separator discharges.
The causes are:
a) The separator of the dryer is too small.
b) The design of the separator is improper.
c) There are mistakes on calculation of wind network and wind pressure.
The solutions are:
a) Changing or transforming the dry's separator.
b) Negotiating with the manufacture on this problem.
4. Drying machine wastes fuels.
The causes are:
a) It's too bad to keep temperature for the drying machine.
b) The heating stove of the drying machine is designed improperly.
The solutions are:
a) Packing a layer of insulation material to improve the working condition of dryer.
b) Inquiring the solutions from the manufacturer.
c) Asking for reasonable design illustrations of dryer's stove.
